First things first.
All good therapy hinges on relationship.
Especially feminist therapy.
Our first priority will be building a foundation of trust by making sure you always feel safe, seen, and respected.
In order to do this, we will prioritize authenticity, insight, and a healthy sense of humor.
In our ongoing work together, we will draw from numerous evidence-based modalities.
I have extensive training in:
Second things second.
Modalities
Using many of these modalities, we will create an individualized plan that addresses your unique needs and personal goals.
Here’s what that might look like:
If you struggle with:
depression
anxiety
loneliness
questions of identity
creative block
We might use:
-
During our time together, we will focus on cultivating empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard to help us explore and understand your feelings and experiences in a supportive environment.
-
Together we will mindfully practice acceptance of difficult thoughts and feelings, and commit to values-driven action so that you can live a more meaningful, flexible life.
If you are working through:
religious trauma
attachment wounds
abandonment
faith deconstruction
existential loss
We might use:
-
We will talk about the things that bring meaning and purpose to your life, and process the ways in which you may have lost touch with defining elements of your identity along the way.
-
We might explore parts of you that hold wounding from childhood as we seek to bring compassion, curiosity, and clarity to these parts.
If you experience:
burnout
isolation
overwhelm
chronic over-functioning
questions of meaning
We might use:
-
Through mindfulness and meditation techniques we will work together to manage stress, anxiety, and pain through heightened awareness and acceptance of the present moment.
-
Our work will emphasize and explore healthy relationships, mutual connection, and community as fundamental to psychological growth and well-being.

I have chosen not to be "in-network" for any insurance providers. I feel that this helps to ensure confidentiality, safety, and flexibility.
I am happy to provide you with a coded receipt of charges and payments (called a superbill) upon request if you would like to file for out of network reimbursement. Clients are responsible for filing for reimbursement with their insurance company if they choose.
-
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges.
